About
This site is dedicated to the memory of Keith Young who passed away from a heart arrhythmia on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend 2008 while training for a marathon relay. His goal in life was to serve others and make them happy, whether it was shoveling the neighbor’s walk, stepping in to do another’s job at work, or cooking dutch oven so that others could enjoy a fabulous meal. Because of his generosity and concern for others we have organized a non-profit organization called the Keith L. Young Memorial Foundation.
We appreciate your time and any support that you might be able to give to celebrate and remember Keith’s love of life, his love of running and his service to others. Also, remember the advice Keith gave to his children as they would run with him:
“When running up hill pick up your knees; when running into the wind put your head down; when running down hill coast and make up ground;, when you don’t think that you can run any farther, hold on to my shirt and I’ll pull you along.”
